Subjects and Verbs
Presents information which will enable you to identify verbs, subjects and prepositional phrases in sentences.
 
Identifying Verbs
Identification of a tense-carrying verb, a verb phrase and an adverb in a sentence.
Identifying Subjects
Distinction between a simple subject, a complete subject and a compound subject.
Prepositional Phrases
Identification of a prepositional phrase in a sentence.  Distinction between a prepositional phrase and an infinitive.


Subject-Verb Agreement
Introduces rules governing subject-verb agreement.  Discusses problems and solutions for subject-verb agreement.
 
Intervening Words
