Can't get beyond DIGISTAR
This condition usually indicates that :
- a) You have NOT installed TCPIP network protocal
- From DESKTOP click SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/NETWORK/PROTOCAL.
- If TCPIP is NOT present, insert WIN95 CD and install
(Communications)(Dialup Networking) components.
- b) You may be switching ISP and the old settings are in effect.
- For DIGISTAR, you will be assigned an IP Address automatically.
From DESKTOP check SETTING/CONTROL PANEL/NETWORK then highlight TCPIP.
Check the TCPIP properties. Make sure "Assigned an IP" is ON.
Remove all other IP values from this section.
- c) You MAY have entered a wrong TCPIP address during SETUP.
- For DIGISTAR, you will be assigned an IP Address automatically.
From DESKTOP check SETTING/CONTROL PANEL/NETWORK then highlight TCPIP.
Check the TCPIP properties. Make sure "Assigned an IP" is ON.
Remove all other IP values from this section.
